Go find people who love them, because the vast majority here, do not. What fun would that be? Although I agree that the crossbow topic comes up by people who despise them, and they are the people who suggest going on forums where they are welcome, this time it was brought up in a rather hypocritical fashion to point out the obvious, and quite frankly, I'd agree. I'd never want to meet someone who's exactly like me, or sees things exactly as I do. Quit taking the bait, quit casting the bait, and find those few people that you know you can converse with, even when you don't agree. If more people would avoid any and all conversation with these types, and ignore the impulse to try and reason with unreasonable people, both parties would be much better off. These are simply excuses to hide them from digging deep, and realizing they were just meant to be who or how they are. Too often, people look for misery so they can somehow explain their angst. Me personally? I'd rather not associate with people who cannot reason, cannot open their minds to a reasonable discussion or disagreement, so I simply avoid them. No matter how well versed your argument is, those 5 percenters will never listen.so stop trying to convince them. These loud talkers are what the right thinks of the left, and the left thinks of the right, and that's simply not the case. 90% of the people are in agreement with you, but those 5 percenters on the far left, and the far right, speak the loudest. I’m not a crossbow advocate or a hypocrite, I’m a deer hunter no matter what weapon I choose. So as compounders We need to stop the holier than though chest thumping because we are certainly guilty of taking the easy way out pretty much every time a new gadget hits the market. Again I completely get the guys who hate crossbows coming into there season, but archery season has not been the primitive season that was created in the beginning for decades. I have been practicing almost daily for a year with a recurve at 15 yds and still can’t shoot groups as tight as the new elite did in 10 minutes. I literally bolted on the sight, whisker biscuit and tied in a peep and it was dialed in to 25 yds in less than 10 minutes. I just bought a new Elite and it is a huge step up in technology from the Parker I bought new in 2007. the fire is lit when compounders call crossbowers lazy and takes the easy way out. Captain I completely understand why guys are against sharing the rut with crossbows as they do have advantages over vertical bows.
